We entered the office building, and were directed into a small board room, where we waited to be greeted.

I couldn’t help but to think of everything that we had gone through in the past couple of years. The lies, the cover ups, the outrageous stunts, all to gain publicity; to get every last cent of money off our fans by keeping a ‘desirable’ image. I hated myself for that. 

I have dreamed of this day for years. The day that all of this ended; the charade is over, and the truth is going to come out. 

Three familiar faces entered the room, before one spoke up. “Thank you for coming today, lads.” He took all of our hands and shook it, with a cold expression still playing on his face.

“But today, your contract is ending, in fact, it ends in about a minute or so. It’s been a pleasure working with you all, and I hope to work with you in the future.”

I couldn’t help but grin at those words, replaying in my head. It was over, it was done. No more lies. We walked out of the building, and into a sea of flashes coming from paparazzi and fans.

“This is it Harry,” I whispered into his ear, “This is us.” 

We embraced each other in a passionate kiss, finally being able to be who we want to be with without anyone stopping us.

“I love you, Louis.”
